Graphs and charts of data are commonly used to capture details on business performance, COVID-19 infection and death rates, demographics, environmental changes, and much more. Data is essential to communication and decision-making.
There are many graphic examples of news outlets, individuals, and organizations utilizing data to convey information and to support an argument. Look for a current example. In your first post, share the image with your readers and cover these three points:
a) Describe the example. What is the data communicating? Why is it used?
b) Did the data help communicate the intended message? Why or why not?
c) Discuss whether the data built trust and credibility, and explain your opinion.
