II) Social/emotional
a. Relationship with Family members (how do they interact with parents and siblings?) Do they spend time with extended family members?
b. Identify/Describe the social acceptance category of this child (popular, rejected- aggressive; rejected-withdrawn)
c. Who is in their friendship group? Why did they choose these people as friends?
d. (Bronfenbrenner) What interactions does this child have with other teens outside of school? Is this child engaged with the community through dating, sports, clubs, hobbies, religious organizations or service organizations (such as Boy/Girl scouts?)
e. Erikson: How does the teen exhibit identity vs. role confusion?
f. How does the teen describe himself/herself (self-concept)?
g. Describe the child's self-esteem at this age. How does social comparison influence this child's self-esteem?
