You've learned about different family formations, different kinds of marriages, the ways people are related by blood or by kinship, and more. Pick one of the marriage systems discussed in our reading (hint: Who Can You Marry?). Describe this system and analyze it in terms of the kinds of families such a marriage might engender, the rights and responsibilities that would be relevant, the kinship system that might emerge, and the various practices associated with it (such as dowry, bridewealth, a certain kind of residence, etc).
