Problem
1) An additional way to collaborate is to share the work you are doing in your classroom with other early childhood educators in a professional learning community. Our weekly seminars have been designed to give you the opportunity to share your work and learning with one another.
a) Describe why it is valuable for early childhood educators to discuss their work with other early childhood educators. Is there something unique about being an early childhood educator that makes this collaboration and reflection so important?
b) How did the weekly seminars influence or impact your work at your practicum site each week? Give at least one specific example of how the discussion during the seminar influenced your actions at your practicum site.
2) The National Association for the Education of Young Children has created the Code of Ethical Conduct to guide our practice as early childhood educators.
a) Describe how the values, principles, and ideals in this document guide your work with children.
b) Describe one instance from your work with children this quarter where you upheld one the principles in the Code of Ethical Conduct.
