Additionally, describe a problem that interests you and would lend itself to a scholarly project; include academic literature to support the project.
Below is a basic outline on how to arrange your essay with the key elements to include:

a. Describe how a specific experience as a practicing nurse (provide details/context) has helped prepare you for doctoral study and the nurse practitioner role.
i. Influence
1. Describe how this experience has influenced your development as a nurse.
2. Include thoughtful analysis on your development related to the experience.
ii. Impact
1. Explain how this experience has changed you as a nurse for the better.
IV. Experience that demonstrates your greatest strengths
a. Describe how a specific experience which demonstrates your strengths in the field of nursing (provide details/context) has helped prepare you for doctoral study and the nurse practitioner role.
i. Influence
1. Describe how this experience has influenced your development as a nurse.
2. Include thoughtful analysis on your development related to the experience.
ii. Impact
1. Explain how this experience has changed you as a nurse for the better.
V. Scholarly project
a. Discuss your initial thoughts on what your DNP project might be.
i. Issue
1. Describe a patient issue related to your concentration (primary care vs. acute care) and explain your interest in this topic.

1. Find three appropriate evidence based sources that support your topic.
2. Properly use and cite those sources to demonstrate previous published background related to support your proposed scholarly topic.
iii. Explain:

2. This could be through a proposed research study, a quality improvement project or maybe even a partnership with another organization locally.
VI. Conclusion
*Write no more than 2 paragraphs on each experience and 2-3 paragraphs on the explanation of the scholarly project.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
