Select a topic you are interested in researching to determine the best practices, with the expectation that you will use this topic in your literature review. Capstone Part I, includes your literature review, as a teaching project. In C-7 you will start the quality improvement proposal. Then start an original* thread that answers the prompts below. For most of you, the topic in this discussion forum will be the same topic that you use for Capstone Part I Literature Review.
Describe a health care problem that you have seen, heard, or read about in an area of nursing that interests you. It can be related to patient care, clinical problems, health promotion issues, education or training (of staff, nursing students, patients), or administrative concerns (such as staff retention, length of stay, health care costs, readmission rates...). Cite at least one statistic and source that supports the problem.
What is a new approach, bundle of interventions, evidence-based initiatives, or possible solutions that may help to improve or resolve the problem? Cite at least one source that supports the suggested interventions.
