Marketing is all about being able to communicate your ideas to specific audiences. The purpose of Assessment Three is to help you develop your presentation skills as it is one of the most common ways of communicating in business. There are many technological aids that can help a presenter so it is important to have a good understanding on how technology can help you.

You are the new marketing manager for your chosen organisation (Pauls milk(Farmhouse gold)). Based on the results of the report, you have been tasked with analysing the current marketing strategy and are required to present your recommendations to the board.

The assessment has three steps:

1. Define the extended marketing mix by providing an overview of theory (i.e. product, price etc.)

2. Explain in an summary overview the current marketing strategy for your organisation under the basic concept headings of the marketing mix

3. Based on your review of the current strategy and the current theory and market trends, make specific and well justified recommendations for changes to your chosen organisations current marketing strategies (i.e. a creative approach to Product/promotion etc.

Ensure you reference your presentation using APA referencing.

This is what you need to have:

1. Definition - explain with references what is the extended marketing mix.

2. Evaluation of what is happening in terms of marketing for your selected organization and the scenario that you have established.
(Please note: You only need to use the 4Ps, unless you are a service business. Most people would be looking at a product, so they would have 4 elements. However, if you are a premium airline / hotel, services would be a differentiating factor, so you probably have more to say with the 8Ps. I'm only going to look for 4Ps in this instance but you are welcomed to review all 8 if you feel it is relevant for you)

3. What marketing strategies are you selecting and why would you want to do that? Select the appropriate strategies for each P and justify why that would be good. For instance, price - state that you wish to use price skimming because.

You must relate that to literature and have in-text citations too. Again, you only need to review 4Ps.
