Assignment Task: IN previous semesters, many students have mentioned or focused on subtitles vs dubbing when discussing international films that are not in one's native tongue. While I can understand the varying opinions on this topic, it is not relevant to our analyses of films in this class in terms of a value judgement on their strengths or weakness. However, there are very interesting issues regarding correct translation and culture. Thus, I am offering up this board to discuss these important aspects.
