Please review my video introduction to this module and the two posted examples of MOUs.
Using a Memorandum of Understanding format (MOU) of your choosing, please create a document, at least 1 page in length, that adequately covers the agreed upon guidelines and interactions, between you and the principal, for your organizational interviews, assessment, change recommendations, and final meeting with the principal to review and receive comments on your analysis, change recommendations, and recommended change plan.
This document must minimally include estimated or actual meeting dates; purpose of agreement; scope of agreement; access to another staff person (for the second interview); confidentiality of assessment and recommendations between you, the principal, and me; and signature/date lines for both you and the principal. Remember there's no change for your services, and don't feel obligated to use all the "legalese" seen in the examples. Keep it simple.
In other words, clearly mention this is for an ADMG: 471 class, you are a student, and I'm the only one who will see the reports and recommendations, outside of the principal and you.
Personally review this document with your principal, and get their signature on it. The may request revisions, and that's fine. So, you need to schedule an appointment with the principal before the assignment is due!
Lastly, In at least 100 words, please post your experiences with developing the MOU and the processes of reviewing it with your principal and getting a signature.
