Essential Components

To begin your final project, select a project from your work or use the instructor provided project and begin developing a risk management plan. This first deliverable has two parts.

1. Project Background where you provide information about the project. This includes a basic scope statement. Remember that this project must be large enough to develop a comprehensive risk approach.

2. Risk Management Plan that outlines your approach to risk. Though you may not know all the sections you will need to include, you should begin to identify how you will approach your risk work and focus on the structure of the document. Remember that you may develop your own approach based on your organization's best practices in project risk management and/or utilize effective processes/ tools/ techniques based on reading/ research you may do.

Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:

1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.

2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.

3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
