Journaling is an activity used by students and professionals alike for self-reflection. It has many personal and professional benefits, including reducing stress and increasing learning (Alford, Malouff, & Osland, 2005; Liuolienë & Metiûnienë, 2009).

You will be asked to journal about your thoughts, experiences, and/or insights. Please refer to the Journal Rubric under the Course Info tab for grading information.

It can be said that every human has a role in shaping the future of global social justice. The following inspirational message (commonly known today as the Serenity Prayer) describes the elements and boundaries of effecting change: "Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

Write a journal entry that includes the following:

For this Journal assignment, consider global social justice. Reflect on when you can make changes, when you cannot make changes, and how you know the difference.
