Conflicting and opposing viewpoints


Paper instructions:

Thesis. The thesis should be appropriate for the length of the paper and the subject. It should be arguable.

Structure/organization. The paper should have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Paragraphs should have a main idea (topic sentence), should stick to the subject, and should provide support for the thesis. The whole paper should stick to the subject.

Diction/usage. The language should be consistent with standard written English usage. Furthermore, it should exhibit appropriate elegance.

Research. Research should be adequate and well and relevantly used, as well as incorporated into the text appropriately.

Format. Research should be appropriately cited and documented, and t he paper should be appropriately formatted
