Paper instructions:
Thesis. The thesis should be appropriate for the length of the paper and the subject. It should be arguable.
Structure/organization. The paper should have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Paragraphs should have a main idea (topic sentence), should stick to the subject, and should provide support for the thesis. The whole paper should stick to the subject.
Support/development. The supporting details should be adequate and relevant. There should be examples and/or other support elements that are well developed, comprehensive. Narrative elements should be present when appropriate and should be presented in a lively and engaging way.
Consider opposing views. The argument should adequately and meaningfully address conflicting and opposing viewpoints.
Diction/usage. The language should be consistent with standard written English usage. Furthermore, it should exhibit appropriate elegance.
Research. Research should be adequate and well and relevantly used, as well as incorporated into the text appropriately.
Format. Research should be appropriately cited and documented, and t he paper should be appropriately formatted
