concerning their final products daughter cells

Concerning their final products (daughter cells and their ploidies) what are the differences between mitosis and meiosis?

In mitosis one cell, for example, with 2n chromosomes, duplicates its chromosomal set and separates generating two other cells, each with 2n chromosomes too. In meiosis, single diploid cell (2n) duplicates its chromosomes too, but four cells with n chromosomes are formed.
