Question 4) ABC Ltd. offered 40,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each to public at the premium of Rs. 3 per share. Rs. 5 per share was payable on application, Rs. 5 on allotment (including premium) and balance of Rs. 3 on first call. Applications for 70,000 shares were perceived and prorate allotment was made on 60,000 shares, remaining application were being refused. Surrender to whom 2800 shares were allotted failed to pay allotment money and on his failure to pay call money, his shares were forfeited. Out of forfeited shares 1,000 shares were reissue as fully paid @Rs. 9 per share. Create cash book and journal of ABC Ltd.
