Composition and roles of safety and health committee


Problem:

Every employer who employs more than 100 persons in his enterprise must, under section 30 of Occupational Safety and Health Act 2005 appoint a registered Safety and Health Officer and to set up a Safety and Health Committee under section 21 of the Act for the purpose of promoting co-operation between the employer and the employees in accomplishing and maintaining safe and healthy working situations.
