OBJECT-ORIENTED APPROACH IN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ASSIGNMENT QUESTION -
PURPOSE -
- To describe the concepts of object-oriented methodology.
- To design an OOP model for a give problem using UML.
QUESTION - Answer the following questions that are related to software development methodologies
a) Make a comparison between UP and waterfall model. In your opinion, which areas or scopes that each of them excels as compared to the other one. Justify your answer.
b) Write a use case description for the following:
i. "user makes online ticket booking to watch a movie in cinema"
ii. "user purchases e-book via amazon.com using credit card"
Each of above use cases should include a success and two alternate scenarios. Use the brief use case format.
c) (i) Assume that you have been asked to develop a system that will handle GST (Goods Service Tax) introduced by the government of Malaysia. Draw the use case diagram for this system. You must include FOUR main use cases in the diagram.
(ii) Redraw the above diagram by including additional TWO use cases connected to any of the main use cases through "include" and "extend" relationships.
