After reading the definition of DAP, please answer the following two questions:
DAP is a term used in children's early education which stands for: Developmentally Appropriate Practice. DAP isn't a curriculum, but it's s set of principles that are to be applied in different ways at different times and in different contexts, and it's also is a way of teaching that meets young children where they are.
• Imagine that you heard the term DAP for the first time in relation to early child's education, what is your reaction?
• "Teachers should make a classroom that reflects the diversity of the community and society and involves every child's home culture and language". Can you make a connection between this phrase/concept and the quality indicators of the childhood teaching?
