Can a supportive climate include stress, criticism and conflict? A supportive climate includes an exchange of ideas where the individual is respected. Often, a little stress is just what is needed to get things accomplished. In respect to teamwork, a little stress and a supportive environment can help improve this productivity. This attention and feeling appreciated can motivate a worker to go above and beyond and overcome limitations and conflicts.

In achieving goals do you think that some conflict and stress can be beneficial at times? The definition and general perception of stress and conflict often lead us to believe that they are always negative occurrences. However, as mentioned, these situations have the ability to spark positive results.

This article goes one-step further and suggests that some stress is actually good for our health and may prevent disease. From this article, we may not be able to definitively say short term stress is good for a person, but it does evidence that it may not necessarily be bad.
