Calculate the temperature at the center of the cube


An Al cube (0.1m on each side) is initially at a temp of 300 C. The cube is immersed in a fluid at 100 C. Calculate:

1. Temperature at the center of one face after 60 seconds.
2. Temperature at the center of the cube after 60 seconds.
3. Heat transfer during this time.

Properties of Al:
density = 2702 kg/m^3
Cp = 903 J/kg.C
k = 237 W/m.C
alpha = 97.1x10^-6 m^2/s
Lc = 0.01667 m

Bi = 0.06667
0.66667 < 0.1, therefore lumped analysis may be used.

b= 0.0233 s^-1
