Calculate the ppm of nh3 in the air

Federal regulations set an upper limit of 50ppm pf NH3in the air in a work environment (that is, 50 molecules of amoniafor every million molecules in the air). Air from a manufacturing operation was drawn through a solution containing1.00 x 102 mL of 0.0105 M HCl. The NH3reacts with the HCl to form NH4Cl. After drawing air through the acid solution for 10.0 minutes at a rate of10.0L/min, the acid was titrated. The acid left after thereaction with amonia took 13.1 mL of 0.0588 M NaOH.

1. Calculate the grams of amonia drawn into the solution.
2. If air has a density of 1.20 g/L and an average molar mass of19.0, calculate the ppm of NH3 in the air.
3. Is the mabufacturer in compliance with regulation?
4. What is the balanced chemical equation for this reaction?
