Calculate the original resistance of heating element wire

The heating element wire in an electric drier(which acts like a big resistor) operates on 240 V and generates heat at the rate of 2.0 kw. The heating element wire shorts out and in repairing it, the owner sortens the wire length by 10%.(assume the temperature is unchanged) the shorter heating wire has an effect on the power dissipated in the wire as heat.

a. calculate the original resistance of the heating element wire( before it was made shorter)

b. calculate the new resistance of the shorter heating element

c. calculate the power increase or decrease due to the shorter heating element.
