For example, in the reaction of acetic acid (CH3COOH) withethanol (C2H5OH) in an organic solvent, the ester known as ethylacetate (CH3COOC2H5) and water form. The reaction isCH3COOH + C2H5OH(g) <----> CH3COOC2H5 +H2OKc = 4 at 500KIf the initial concentrations of CH3COOH and C2H5OH are0.03mol/L and 0.047mol/L, respectively, and the concentration ofwater in the initial mixture is 0.018mol/L, calculate the equilibrium concentration of ester. Answer in units of mol/L.
