Consider a cross flow of water (saturated water) that comes at 20C with a velocity of 5 m/s on the surface of a cylindrical tube that has a diameter of 10 mm. The surface of the tube is maintained at 50C from end to end.
(a) Calculate average heat transfer coefficient applicable to the conditions described above.
(b) Calculate rate of heat transfer-per-unit length of the tube
(c) If the Total length of the tube is 20 cm, calculate total rate of heat transfer
