Calculate minimum work required to compress air

Air, initially at 27 degrees C, is contained in a piston-cylinder. Calculate the minimum work required to compress the air until the pressure doubles assuming the process to be:

a) adiabatic

b) isothermal

In each case assume the compression to be reversible. Do this for:

1) constant specific heats

2)nonconstant specific heats

Show both processes on the same T-s and P-v diagram with a common starting point.
