Case Study:

As a trainer or facilitator you are responsible for a team of office workers responsible for general office administration work for the company. This typically includes word processing; taking and producing memos and minutes from various meetings; sorting and distributing incoming mail; processing outgoing mail; receptionist duties: and filing documents in soft and hard copy.

A number of problems have been brought to your attention during your first week in the position. External customers have been treated rudely over the telephone and at the reception. Mail has been 'misplaced' and the general manager is upset because minutes of particular meetings conducted in the past year are often difficult to locate. On your first mention of the problem to the staff they tell you they do not really know what is expected of them. You are informed that they have been asked to perform duties for which they have had little or no training.

You are to supply at least one example of evidence of the ability to:

Develop individuals and teams -
