Scenario You are working for a team of health and safety consultants. You have been asked to conduct a review of health and safety procedures and practices at Bournville College.

Task 1

As Health and Safety consultant for the College, you have been asked to brief the new members of staff about what constitutes a healthy and safe working environment for the College.

You should also include some of the signs for hazards, so that staff members are aware.

You may produce a newsletter to inform staff.

Criteria: You must discuss the hazards of the physical environment, and how equipment can be used safely and well as referring to the following legislation: Data Protection Act 1998; Computer Misuse Act 1990; Copyright, Designs and Patent Act 1988; Freedom of Information Act 2000.
