Barriers to Communication
Effective communication is vital to creating and sustaining a productive and growth- oriented organizational climate. However, because of the myriad number of diverse personalities and the needs of stakeholders within an organization, challenges to effective communication are inevitable.
In the chart below, list five barriers to communication, per the course text or another scholarly source. In the second column, specify at least one remedy/solution to overcome each of the five barriers you listed in the first column.
Then write a one- to two-page paper, excluding the title and reference pages and including the chart as an appendix, explaining in detail at least two barriers to communication experienced by your own school organization. Then design a brief plan to overcome those barriers.
Explain what you would do to procure stakeholder buy-in to implement these strategies. Include at least one scholarly source in addition to the textbook to support the plan explained in your paper. Cite your source in-text and on a reference page. Your paper must be formatted per APA style guidelines as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.
