1. Find and describe an example of a logical fallacy. This may be one you employed, one used in an argument you overheard, an example from a political speech or a biased news report, etc.
2. Have you ever been duped by fake news/websites? If yes, what drew you in and how did you ultimately realize the information was not accurate? If not, what tools do you use to maintain skepticism when encountering information on the Internet?
3. What techniques, if any, can you recommend to help avoid plagiarism while writing research papers?
4. Considering the MLA approach to citation formatting, why do you think it might be important to have a systematic approach to formatting citations? Have you ever benefited from source citation (if so, provide an example)?
5. Assuming you have created a bibliography for an assignment previously, how did you approach the task of curating sources? How might detailed annotation be helpful under such circumstances?
