This assignment requires you to assess Amazon's status, weaknesses and threats, and the strategic challenges it faces involving human capital issues. The purpose of the assignment is to further your exploration of the relationship between human resources management strategies and overall firm performance. I addition to the general assessment of the firm's status, the assessment should also address how these issues have implications for human resource management strategies and the people side of the business. The project is designed to illustrate the relationship between human resource management activities and overall firm performance.
