As the first step in designing a tooling database at your

As the first step in designing a tooling database at your facility, you need to develop an E-R model. A number of different tool types are in use in the facility. There are three categories of tool types: single-point, drill, and multi-tooth. Single-point tools are defined by their rake angle and relief angle, drill tools by their point angle, diameter, and length, and multi-tooth tools by their diameter and quantity of teeth. Regardless of category, each tool type is identified by an alphanumeric code and the material must also be recorded. At any given time, there are between zero and ten tools of each type in the facility. Individual tools are identified by a number: the tool life remaining must also be monitored. Of particular importance in the facility is tool location. At any given time, each tool is located either at a machine (i.e., in the machines chuck) or in a machines tool magazine. Each machine in the facility has a unique ID # and is found in a certain department: it can chuck one tool at a time and has either one or two magazines for local tool storage. Each tool magazine has a unique identifying number, a certain tool capacity, and is dedicated to a particular machine. The maximum capacity of any tool magazine is 100 tools. Develop an E-R diagram for this scenario. Be sure to include min/max cardinality constraints.
