As mentioned earlier im posting to pass along a new short

As mentioned earlier, I'm posting to pass along a new short response prompt with respect to parts II and III of Freud's Beyond the Pleasure Principle

In those sections Freud approaches and situates 'repetition compulsion' in respect to several registers of experience ranging from child development, to war trauma, from the therapists couch, to the realm of everyday habits, and also to mythological thematics.

For a response, I'm suggesting selecting at least one of these registers to examine and engage a bit further.

Do you see merits or limits in that approach the questions framed and conclusions drawn?

Also, are there familiar realms of experience that challenge or confirm what Freud appears to be getting at?

. . . Or, do you see implications for what this may tell us about the possibilities of human psychic life?
