It is time to schedule a future telephone conference call appointment withyour internshippreceptor, you and myself. I am also interested in feedback on how the HCA Department can improve the internship experience and preparation for future interns, for both the student and the preceptor. Additionally, I want to know if the organizationis interested in sponsoring future CSULB HCA interns, and encourage them to continuebeing a preceptor. In the past 5 years the number of CSULBHCA internship students has doubled, and an appropriate internship sites that are needed has also doubled. Work I had at the healthcare clinic: Helping referral department with referral cases, ( I can submit 5 referral cases per day without supervisor), I also help with verifying patient eligibility for insurance and update patient medical information. (which requires me to using multiple medical software ). Moreover, I also help with front desk associates to answering phone call from patients and making outreach calls for patients. Most importantly, I helping and hosting several health fair event which I learned a lot about planning, marketing and budgeting. That's all my work as an intern at healthcare clinic.
