Motivation Assignment
Take some time to think about how you are motivated? Read through the different theories on motivation. Answer the following questions.
1. Are you more extrinsically motivated or intrinsically motivated? Explain and give an example.
2. Would the Hawthorne Effect work for you as an employee. Explain why or why not.
3. As a manager, would you consider yourself to be McGregor's Theory X or Theory Y? Explain.
4. Adam's Equity Theory discusses treating employees fairly. How would you feel if you performed the same amount of work as someone with more years of experience, but he or she was paid more than you? Would you approach your supervisor about this dilemma? Explain.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
