Equal Protection under the Law
Students are to analyze New Jersey Constitution, with the focus on Article I of the New Jersey Constitution and the Bill of Rights in the U.S. Constitution. Students are to then give an analysis of some of the similarities and differences between the two. Most importantly which provided more protection than the other and why. Also do states have to follow the federal constitutional protections? Why or Why not?
Students must cite in APA format with in-text citations and a reference page.
Students should limit their resources to scholarly sites ( .edu, .gov, or .edu ) journal articles, or books.
Assignments must be typed, 12 point font, Times New Roman, double-spaced, approximately 2 to 3 pages in length. Submissions should be in a form of an attachment as either word (doc or docx) rich text (rte) or pdf.
