Case Study - Amusement Park System
You are a management consultant firm. The business is growing rapidly and there is more competition in park entertainment services. Management is constantly looking for new ideas to improve business process efficiency, storing data more effectively to support business decisions about future growth and increasing customer satisfaction.

  • Maintenance service on all rides (preventative and unexpected)
  • Employee ride assignments (make an assumption - one or more employee per ride)
  • Track Customer ticket sales (regular and season pass) and Management reports
  • Vendor/park stores total sales (only need to capture their sales)


1. Create a Use Case diagram based on the above requirements
a. You will be confirming your system scope by creating a use case diagram using the required symbols/rules. There should more than 5 use cases based on the requirements
b. Show at a minimum of one include and one extend relationships.
2. Create one Use Case Description on any use case. Create a glossary.
3. Create the Class diagram based off of the use cases in the Use Case diagram
a. Show all 3 components of at least half of your classes. There should be more than 5 classes based on the requirements
