She discusses the importance of a well-organized environment that is emotionally supportive of children, offers appropriate instructional interactions, curriculum modifications and adaptations, embedded learning and then child-specific instructional strategies. These levels of support are described in detail and they are what we were going to discuss together in class. You should review this PowerPoint enough to feel that you have a good understanding of what it is that you need to do to modify instruction for children in your classrooms that have special needs.
