One of the findings from Snyder's nun study (Kemper & Greiner, 2001) indicates NEGATIVE correlations between early grammatical complexity and ideations when young and the development of Alzheimer's Disease in later life. What implications can this finding have for educators and parents of children and young adults in terms of liberal arts education? How can this be related to the theory of cognitive reserve?
