A spring that does not conform to hooks law exerts a force

A spring that does not conform to Hook's law exerts a force F =52.8 x + 38.4 x2 in the direction opposite of the stretch.

a) Find what is the work required to stretch the spring from 0.500 m to 1.000 m?

b) With one end of the spring fixed, a particle of mass 2.17 kilogram is attached to the other end of the spring which stretches 1.000 meter. If the mass is then released from rest, determine the end speed when it reaches x = 0.500 m?
