1 suppose youre stranded in the middle of an ice-covered

1. Suppose you're stranded in the middle of an ice-covered lake whose surface is so slick that you have no traction at all in order to begin moving.  Fortunately, you're carrying a bag of oranges.  How you can get yourself moving and what physical principle is involved?

2. If you placed a tomato in orbit at the same distance from the Earth as the Moon, how would the tomato's period of orbit around the Earth compare with that of the Moon?

I do not know how to do these two questions? please explain, thank you so much
