Verification is static kind of software testing, which means code is not implemented. The product is estimated by going throughout the code. The different types of verification are:
i. Inspection : this is a detailed word-by-word checking of software product; with the purpose of verify traceability of related requirements and finding defects, etc.
ii. Walkthrough : It is an informal verification which was initiated by the author of the software product to a coworker for assistance in finding defects or suggestion for enhancement. They are generally spontaneous. Author gives details about the product; coworker comes out with explanation and author notes down related points and performs corrective measures.
