What is Hardware

Hardware: It refers to the physical parts of a computer and associated devices. Internal hardware devices comprise hard drives, motherboards, and RAM. External hardware devices comprise monitors, mouse, printers, keyboards, and scanners.

The internal hardware portions of a computer are frequently termed to as components, whereas external hardware devices are generally termed as peripherals. Jointly, they all fall beneath the group of computer hardware. Software, on the other hand, comprises of the programs and applications which run on computers. Since software runs on computer hardware, software programs frequently have system requirements which list the minimum hardware needed for the software to run.
