Biological diversity is defined as the variety of species of living beings of an ecosystem. In ecosystems, more biodiverse, such as tropical forests, a large variety of the plants, microorganisms, and animals live; in the ecosystems less biodiverse, such as deserts, there are less variety of the living beings.
