Entrepreneur: An entrepreneur who has control, ownership of tools, chance of profit, and risk of loss is an independent contractor.
Organization / Integration: A work of an employee is made as an integral part of the business, whereas a self-governing contractor’s effort, even though made for the business, is only accessory to it.
Enterprise: The person is an employee if the employer controls the activities of the person, is in a position to reduce the risk of loss, benefits from the activities of the person, and bears the true cost of a product or service.
