Obesity should not be stigmatized because it is not a disease but can be caused due to several other issues such as unhealthy eating habits or over eating etc.  Obesity has its own concerns and can be dealt with. There are causes of obesity that can be worked upon and an individual can be free from being obese. One should identify the cause of his own obesity and should work towards it. It is not a social taboo but it can be fought with a disciplined life style and good eating habits. Therefore there is no reason for stigmatizing obesity.
