1. Establishment of Goal: The initial step is to create the goals of each subordinate. Superiors and subordinates jointly work to establish goal in some organizations.
2. Creating Performance Standard: The second step comprises the setting up of performance standard for the juniors in a previously arranged time period.
3. Comparison of real Goals with the Standard Goals: In the third step the real level goal achievement is judged against the standard goals.
4. Setting up New Goals, New plans: The last step involves creating new aims and new plans for goals not previously attained.
