Classical examples are parasites of the humans (or host), like the trypanosome which causes Chagas' syndrome, the HIV virus (or AIDS), the bacteria which causes tuberculosis, the schistosome which causes schistosomiasis, hookworms, and so forth. Other examples are tree (or host) and the parasitic helminths (or parasite), dog (or host) and lice (or parasite), cattle (or host) and tick (or parasite), and so forth.
