Why should not raking piles of a bridge abutment to be placed under an embankment?

The movement between the ground and the pile group is difficult to predict for a bridge abutment to be maintained on raking piles with different orientations. The settlement of embankment behind the abutment may result the raking piles to go through harsh bending moment and harm the piles if some of the bridge raking piles abutment are extended beneath an embankment.
