Promotion for a new set up business

Promotion: Since ours is a small venture to begin with, we would like to confine our promotional activity to advertising. We have set our advertising goals as:

  • To be noticed
  • To be understood
  • To stimulate action, such as an enquiry or visit to our store
  • A sale

Regarding our advertising options, we would like to confine our advertising to dailies, metropolitan newspapers, local newspapers and radio, directories such as yellow pages, television, billboards, leaflets. Even though, advertising in so many channels may be a bit expensive, we have decided to go for them since ours is a new product and service and needs to be recognised and noticed till it gets publicised. The channels we have chosen for advertising are not very costly.
 
They are capable of publicising the new product among the metropolitan public. With our target audience being mostly from educated employees and college and university students, these channels are sufficient to keep us in limelight. Even among these modes of advertising, we would like to keep a low key in case of expensive ones.
