Explain difference between the MCB & MCCB and where it is generally used?

MCB refers to the miniature circuit breaker that is thermal operated and used for the protection of the short circuit in small current rating circuit. MCCB moulded case circuit breaker and is thermal operated for the over load current and magnetic operation for the instant trip in short circuit condition under voltage and under frequency may be inbuilt. Generally, it is used where the normal current is more than the 100A.
