Expert
Scrum-ban is a software production model which is based on Kanban and Scrum. Scrum-ban is particularly suited for maintenance projects or (system) projects with recurrent and anticipated user stories or programming errors. In such cases the time-limited sprints of Scrum model are of no considerable use, but Scrum daily meetings and other practices can be functional, depending on team and situation at hand. Visualization of work stages and limitations for simultaneous fragmentary user stories and defects are familiar from the Kanban model. Using these techniques, the team workflow is directed in a manner that permits for minimum completion time for each user story or programming error, and on other hand ensures each team member is continuously employed.
